CIP Global Executive Search Process

For CIP the initial stage of recruitment is essential to understand the customer’s needs, business focus and strategic objectives. Only then is it possible to provide the maximum value by presenting candidates in line with the customer’s operations and requirements. CIP seeks the best possible solutions, which give customers the highest quality candidate as well as a high return on their investment.

Throughout the entire recruitment process the customer is continuously updated on the status of their candidate search. For our search CIP may use one or all of a number of local, national or international databases to achieve maximum reach in the search. Our primary geographic areas of operation are:

  • Sweden/Scandinavia
  • Europe
  • East Asia
  • USA/Australia.

After the signing of a recruitment contract CIP prepares a company description, job profile and role description. Then we begin the recruitment process, which normally takes 6-8 weeks. Hereafter selected candidates are presented to the customer at which time, the client then determines which of the candidates best match with respect to their intersection of personality and personal chemistry with the company culture and working environment.

A recruitment assignment performed by CIP is considered completed when the selected candidate has signed the agreement and the customer is satisfied and not before. In addition, CIP always provides a 6 month warranty on a recruitment process with full executive search privileges. This means that if, for whatever reason, the candidate himself or the customer is not satisfied with the placement AND the employment contract is terminated within 6 months of the date the employment contract is signed, CIP will provide a new recruitment process with new candidates at no additional cost.

In addition to our standard Full-Service Executive Recruitment, CIP also offers an Online Search, which is a pure database search of candidates. This reduced search form does not provide the same level of recruitment management, service, depth interviews or warranty compared to the standard recruitment process. An online search is therefore conducted for a much lower fee and is suggested when budgetary limitations are leading consideration.

CIP is also more than happy to provide customers with tailored recruitment solutions that fit them best and as always considers a mission accomplished only when the customer is satisfied.

CIP Leadership Assesment

Assessing goal-oriented leaders with the ability to deliver results is an important part of CIP’s service. Leadership Assessment is particularly useful when there is a complete leadership change and/or when a company undergoes a major change in direction.

CIP helps to identify both individual and group strengths in business to ensure that future talent fits each company’s culture and strategy.

The goal with leadership qualification is to guide the client in their achievement of short-term, long-term and overall strategic objectives, “the right leader at the right time in the right place”.

Included in the Leadership Assessment process, CIP analyzes and identifies those individuals within the company who are prepared to “go the extra mile” and those who are underperforming.

CIP provides our clients with guidance on:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Reconstructions
  • IPOs
  • Leadership and/or organizational changes
  • Succession planning
  • Renewal or amendment of the company’s core values
  • Global expansion, International preparations

CIP Leadership Assessment is usually adapted to the customer’s needs for matching talent with the right position within the company. This function can also be used as an annual evaluation of the existing leadership. The model takes into account: visionary strength, analytical strength, relationship skills and overall executive strength – foundation for a strong and successful leadership.

Second Opinion and Career Management

CIP offers a Second Opinion to help the customer to professionally assess a candidate. CIP’s Second Opinion can be used both for internal recruitments or in the assessment of external candidates, which the client has endorsed. This service saves the customer money by avoiding a full recruitment process and quite simply confirms whether or not the customer may be making the right decision.

Career Management

When a customer needs to target one or more employees for termination yet feels the need to assist in their next endeavor they may want to chose CIP’s Career Management service. We offer the dismissed employee professional help for their future job search. CIP tailors a solution for every individual or situation and offers resume assistance in the form of evaluation, improvement and translation. Furthermore, each individual is interview coached and ultimately fully registered CV database.

CIP Language Services Process

CIP provides professional language assistance and training for individuals and groups of up to ten at various levels and positions. The training aims to teach the formal as well as informal nuances of English in both speech and writing. It is common for a program to range from basic e-mail communication and general business English to more advanced negotiation and presentation communications.

The English language service from CIP is uniquely designed to provide individual long-term development. Everyone has different needs, abilities and learning curves. Hence CIP places great importance on the learning process and ensures that each course is tailored to the client’s needs for the best possible results.

First language consultation with CIP evaluates the client’s language needs, and identifies strengths and weaknesses. In the end, training targets are set and agreed on by the student and the instructor.

For group courses a broader educational focus is applied to meet the needs of the group in order to achieve the best results for the specific language target.
